Medicare Made Simple!
Navigating Medicare can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make the process clear and stress-free. Below, you’ll find essential information about Medicare, your plan options, and how I can help you make the best choice for your healthcare needs.
What is Medicare?

Medicare is a federal health insurance program primarily for:

-
Individuals aged 65 and older
-
Certain younger individuals with disabilities
-
People with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)

Medicare helps cover medical costs, but it’s important to understand your coverage options to avoid gaps in care and unexpected expenses.
Medicare Plans Explained

Medicare consists of several parts, each covering different aspects of healthcare:
Part A – Hospital Insurance

Covers:
-
Inpatient hospital stays
-
Skilled nursing facility care
-
Hospice care
-
Some home health care

Most people receive Part A for free if they (or their spouse) paid Medicare taxes while working.
Part C – Medicare Advantage (All-in-One Plans)

Covers:
-
Offered by private insurance companies
-
Combines Parts A & B and often includes Part D (prescription drugs)
-
May offer extra benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and wellness programs
Part B – Medical Insurance

Covers:
-
Doctor visits
-
Outpatient services
-
Preventive care (e.g., screenings, vaccines)
-
Medical equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers)

Part B requires a monthly premium, and costs may vary depending on income.
Part D – Prescription Drug Coverage

Covers:
-
Helps cover the cost of prescription medications
-
Offered by private insurers
-
Plans vary in cost and covered medications
Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

-
Helps pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by Original Medicare (Parts A & B)
